About me

During my volunteer time with Animal Lifeline's life-saving transport program, I was able to meet wonderful dogs like Darla.

I have been dedicated to animals all my life. Over the years, I've enjoyed my share of hamsters, rabbits, cats, turtles - you name it, I have cared for them! Some were my own beloved pets, and others were foster pets who needed a safe place to stay as they awaited their permanent home.

I resided in Hunterdon County, NJ until I moved to the small village of Point Pleasant, PA in August of 2015. Here, I share my life with my wonderful husband Adam, our beautiful dogs Addie and Bella, and two quirky goldfish named Artemis and Dennis. We enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking, fostering shelter animals, and working on our home.

Animals have always been an important part of my life. Along my career path, I have been an animal control officer, animal cruelty investigator and I spent 10 years as a Shelter Outreach Coordinator for Petfinder.com. Additionally, I have been pet, house and farm sitting for 15 years. I have many years of experience with feral cats, shy dogs, very young and elderly animals, as well as farm animals such as goats, chickens, sheep, horses, and even exotics such as emus.

I decided the time was right to go out on my own and do what I had always thought about - start my own business and work hands-on with animals full time. Now I have a job I love and my passion for animals is rivaled only by my compassion for them.
